Astrology as a map, not a forecast
We do not use astrology to predict. We use it as a language for the shape of a life.

Astrology at Cocoon is not a forecast. It is a map.
A chart will not tell you what is going to happen on Thursday. It will tell you something true about the shape of your temperament, the seasons your life has been moving through, and the patterns that keep finding you.
What a chart actually shows
A chart is a picture of the sky at the moment you were born. It holds a vocabulary, planets, signs, houses, aspects, for parts of a self that most languages do not have words for.
Read well, a chart names what was always there. The way you process grief. The way you love. The way you make money. The way you rest. The places that ask the most work in this life.
Why we use it
Because it is honest. Because it does not flatter. Because it gives a frame that puts the difficult parts of a life in proportion. You stop asking "what is wrong with me" and start asking "what is this part of me here to do."
This is the same question IFS asks of the inner world, in a different language.
How it fits the rest of the work
Astrology gives the shape. The body does the work. Therapeutic breath retraining, nervous system literacy, and sleep are how the shape becomes a life you can actually live.
Where to begin
Somatic astrology is the page that explains how we work with the chart in session. The astrology quiz is a soft door in. For the wider frame, why we see the whole person.
